Even those who are very well-organized can become overwhelmed if they don’t have the right processes in place. Business systems and tools can help you to more efficiently manage inventory, keep up with daily tasks, and organize your employees. We’ve compiled this list of 5 apps to help you stay organized in your small business.
1: Asana. Best for project management.
Asana is an easy-to-use online system that allows you and your colleagues to organize tasks and due dates while setting goals and tracking your progress.
2: Google Drive. Best for storing and sharing business documents.
Google Drive is an effective way to store large amounts of documents that can be accessed by everyone in one convenient location. This is a great collaboration on document editing, without sending frequent emails back and forth.
3: Zoom. Best for Online and Virtual Meetings
Zoom is ideal for frequent online meetings, presentations or client meetings. Basic packages offer unlimited talk time for two attendees, and other tiers include meeting recordings, polls breakout rooms and more.
4: Loom. Best for explaining ideas with screen recordings.
Loom is a screen recording tool that allows you to record yourself and your computer screen at the same time. Then you can send the video to anyone who needs to see what you are sharing. It can be faster and more efficient than sending emails and screen captures.
5: Trello. Best for visual lists of tasks and projects.
Trello is a project management app designed for working groups that love visual representations. Each project can be organized into “bulletin boards” that allow each person to add comments, track milestones and even drag tasks from one board to another.
