The Business Centre: Nippising Perry Sound
Before joining the amazing team at the Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound, Laurie spent over 30 years in senior management for several large corporations, including national retailers, and two of the top four Telecommunications Companies in Canada. As a safety and security professional, Laurie spent the bulk of her career helping corporations protect their people, product, and property. Laurie was responsible for developing strong operating procedures and health and safety best practices while building strong relationships with all levels of management, staff, vendors, and community partners.
Laurie now owns and operates her own Safety and Security consulting business and works with TBC as a part-time Virtual Service Advisor. Laurie is thrilled to be able to take the knowledge and experience gathered throughout her career and share it with entrepreneurs as they start or expand their businesses. Covid19 has created so many challenges for SMEs, but it has also created great opportunities. Laurie is passionate about working virtually and has been doing so for years. Being able to work remotely with clients has allowed her to help more people, while also showing clients what is possible as they start, expand, or rebuild their businesses. It’s so rewarding to assist as they build a bright sustainable future!
