Big Ass Slabs – Chainsaw Milling and Timberwork (Oxford County)
Just four years ago, Daniel West was working at a neighbouring farm doing milling work. Today he is the owner of “Big Ass Slabs”, a business that currently carries over 600 pieces of live edge wood. Daniel doesn’t cut trees down but salvages urban logs, cuts, dries, and surfaces the slabs, and sells them to his woodworking clients.
